Footpaths 31 and 32 through Alsa Wood had become difficult to use during the winter months due to wet, muddy, and slippery conditions. The existing routes were affected by poor ground conditions, making access challenging for members of the public and limiting safe year-round use of the woodland paths.
Upshire Village Hall – Community Vegetation Management Project
The Challenge
Upshire Village Hall required support to improve and maintain its outdoor spaces, with several areas becoming overgrown and difficult to manage. Pathways and surrounding vegetation needed attention to help create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for the local community to enjoy.
As an important community space used by local residents and visitors, it was essential that the works improved both accessibility and the overall appearance of the site while maintaining the natural surroundings.
