Experienced Rural Operative
/ Tractor Driver

What you’ll do:

• Operate machinery such as JCB Fastracs and Fendt Tractors, Excavators, Dumpers, Telehandlers, Compact Tractors, Chainsaws and Mowers
• Maintain equipment and work safely
• Work independently or as part of a team, delivering top-quality results

Roles Available – Skilled Operator We are recruiting for two positions. Training and progression opportunities within 2 years are available to the right people. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a range of machinery including large tractors, 360 excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers
• Carry out manual labour and rural contracting tasks to a high standard
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of all equipment
• Work independently and follow company procedures
• Deliver excellent service to customers

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Large tractor driving experience (essential)
• Telehandler ticket (preferred)
• 360 excavator experience (desirable)
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
• Good awareness of health & safety
• Previous experience in a similar rural/contracting role beneficial

Location Waltham Abbey – on‑site, outdoor, physical work in rural environments. Overtime Details Overtime is based on approximately 500 hours per year, with some employees exceeding this (highest recorded in 2024: 572 hours). Rates offer an excellent opportunity to increase annual earnings.
