Built on family values and shaped by decades of hands-on experience, GTM Enterprises Ltd has grown from a local agricultural service provider into a trusted rural and environmental contractor, specialising in vegetation management and supporting local authorities, public sector organisations, estates, and land managers across the UK.
Originally established in 1982 by Graham Matthews as G E Matthews, the business began as a sole trader operation and earned a strong reputation for delivering reliable, practical services within the agricultural, equine, and local authority sectors. Over time, the business evolved into a family company, with Tim Matthews growing up within the business and developing a deep understanding of both the industry and the values it was built upon — hard work, trust, reliability, and pride in doing the job properly.
In 2014, Tim and Graham formed GTM Enterprises Ltd as a new standalone company, marking an important step forward through succession, rebranding, and business expansion. Since then, GTM has continued to evolve into a modern rural services business, delivering vegetation management and a wide range of specialist services nationwide, while maintaining the family values and personal approach that have always defined the company.
Today, GTM supports the management of rural assets, infrastructure, and environments by providing practical expertise, specialist equipment, and reliable delivery for customers who need a trusted partner they can count on.
